Dear Patients,

After practicing for over 55 years, I, Dr. Michael J. Reid, have decided it is time for me to retire and enjoy my golden years. Your confidence and trust in me made going to work a pleasure and I enjoyed taking care of each and every one of you. My physician assistant, Janel Liverato PA-C, who has been working by my side for the last 14 years, will be continuing to see patients up until October 31, 2024. That will also be the last day for allergy shots. At the end of the day, we will be closing our doors.

I am referring patients to Dr. Opal Gupta at San Francisco Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. She is taking new patients and would be willing to work with you and your current allergy shots.

If you need records after the close of our clinic, they will be stored in a secure, outside facility.

After November 14, 2024 all patient records will be sent to Desert River Solutions to be the custodian of medical records. Starting on December 1, 2024 please start requesting your medical records from Desert River Solutions.

Your records will be stored for 7 years since your last visit. If you were last seen prior to 2017, your records have already been destroyed in accordance with California law.

P.S. Hi everyone! Janel here! Just also wanted to say thank you for trusting in me to care for your allergy and asthma needs. The last 14 years have been the most wonderful, fulfilling, and rewarding years of my life. I owe it all to Dr. Reid for giving me the opportunity to work with him. I plan on continuing my career as a PA, but I am not sure where I will land just yet! It has truly been an absolute pleasure to meet and get to know each and every one of you.
